SMC Powder Metallurgy Inc, based in St. Marys, PA, USA, has announced it can now ‘print parts’ for customers through the use of additive manufacturing technology.
SMC can now ‘print parts’ for its customers
The main advantage of having this technology is that it enables a part to be created well before tools are produced, states SMC.
Growth of sales team
SMC also announced that due to increasing business the company has expanded its sales group.
Mike Dippold has been promoted to Sales Manager working directly with the inside sales group to monitor and provide strong customer service.
Josh Challingsworth has been appointed Inside Sales Representative to service customers in the mid-West.
In January, SMC also hired Meagan Young as a Sales Service Assistant responsible for entering production schedules and processing quotes for the sales representative group, Industrial Sales.
Lonnie House also accepted a Sales Engineer position and will be covering the North eastern states along with eastern Canada.
