International Powder Metallurgy Standards

International Standards (ISO) are critical to the continuing prosperity of the PM industry. They help to underpin the various process technologies used in PM, and give design engineers essential guidance on mechanical properties realizable for various PM products.

Since 1967 the Technical Committee (TC) 119 of ISO has published numerous powder metallurgy ISO standards, most of which have additionally been adopted as national standards around the world. An up-to-date listing of these standards is published below. The Sub-Committees (SCs) of ISO TC119 are continually updating PM standards with new or other essential information.
